I've only written it for a day but so far it is exactly what I wanted. I have a nice mountain and road bike but I was looking for an urban cruiser to kick around #yeathatgreenville from my office downtown. The bike arrived early, was simple to assemble, and I ran two errands today on it and it zips. Great buy for the money.
Yeah, I really like it. And for $220 that’s an unbeatable price for something of this quality
6KU Fixie Bike
I wanted to get a fixed gear bike that I could do quick rides with and not have to use clips, cycling outfits, etc. I researched fixed gear bikes, looked over a number of websites, and decided on buying the Fixie bike at $219 (on sale from $249). It arrived today and I set it up in under 15 minutes. Pretty straightforward. There was a rubbing sound on the wheels and I noticed the brake pad wasn't aligned so I turned it slightly and tightened that. Now it's good to go. The bike looks great, rides great, and is smooth. I am now buying a second one for my girlfriend. Same size (52 cm). I am 5'9" and this turned out to the be the right size. The seat is up about 6 inches (see pic) and the fit is excellent. If you are taller than 5'10", I would go up to the 55 cm. I used a discount code (6KU5) and that got me an extra $10 off the total. For $208.05 and free shipping, you cannot go wrong with this bike. I am an avid cyclist and know bikes pretty well. I'm fully satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this bike. There is an aluminum version that weighs a few pounds less and you can buy that on Amazon for $244 plus tax ($265 in my State). I preferred this version for a smoother ride. The aluminum version will make the ride a little rougher. Anyway, I left this review within an hour of getting this bike. That should tell you something about my satisfaction.
I've commuted on bike for 3 years. It was on a hybrid. I wanted a bike that was more simple to keep maintained. The 6ku far exceeded my expectations. It's fast and made for power. I had no idea how board I really was riding a multi geared bike that always felt sluggish. The 6ku allows me to power through coastal winds and get to where I need to be efficiently.
