This bike has been amazing the first several months I’ve had it. It’s light, agile, and looks damn good. However, with time the components have worn quickly. I ride hard daily and take very good care of my bikes... bought this to be my new everyday commuter but wasn’t aware the wheel set came without sealed bearing hubs, hence the swap to the white State deep V’s in the photo. The bike rides well but not even half a year in to owning it the drivetrain is ready to be replaced as the bottom bracket sounds like it’s chewing marbles and I top out my speed quickly with 110bcd crank. Having a 144 or even 130 upgrade crankset option (as well as seal bearing hub wheelset) at purchase would be awesome for this bike (Aventon Push???) as I feel it has so much more potential. My riding experience changed drastically after changing out the pedals (I suggest doing this immediately) to some RaceFace Chester pedals. Overall the bike does seem like a great value for the money but definitely an entry level aluminum frame experience. A carbon fork option would also be great but then we’d actually be talking about the Aventon Cordoba... which is what I planned on upgrading to until I picked up a used State 6061 Black Label a few months ago, which is a size too small but definitely has shifted me towards trading both bikes for a new Black Label V2 in my size. None the less, I’ve enjoyed the Urban Track, and receive compliments on it regularly, but had hoped The enjoyment would have had more longevity. I did not anticipate having drivetrain issues so quickly although I do put this bike to the test regularly.
I just received this bike and have only had the opportunity to ride it a few times. I would prefer to review it further down the line when I can ride it to class every day but I keep getting these emails. From the times I have ridden it the bike seems fantastic! Very fast, light, and easy to maneuver.
Great bike for the price. Put on some new pedals and changed out the seat and hit the road. All good!

I love cycling however very hesitating to spend top $$ on bike. I decided on urban track as an every day transportation. Have turn out that can't commute to work due to hilly area and mostly because scared of the cars with no respect to cyclists, (i.e. I live in suburbia), I know it's a shame we can't bike to work. However, since urban track is a road bike with no gears have used to put a few rides for exercise. The bike is great on paved roads, fast and light, the gear ratio looks good (not an expert), have a little trouble on a couple steep climbs. To be expected with a single speed. Feel a little bit more bumpy on hard/crashed stone trail. If you avoid steep hills the bike is great for fitness and/or city commute. For it's price there is no comparison. The breaks are a little soft, think that might be easy fix. Overall, for that price I can not complain at all.
