6KU offers shipping to some countries outside the United States. The amount shown at checkout is for shipping charges only and does not include any import duty or taxes charged by your country, brokerage charges applied by the shipping carrier, or currency conversion fees. Any additional charges are due at delivery and are the responsibility of the recipient. Consult your local customs office to determine what fees, if any, your country may charge.
Do not order if you are unwilling or unable to pay the import duty, tax, and customs charges at delivery. If you refuse delivery because of non-payment of these fees, your items will be abandoned by the shipping carrier and you will not receive a refund.
We process all transactions in USA dollars (USD). Your card issuer will convert currency at the prevailing exchange rate. Many credit/debit card issuers charge a fee or percentage for transactions not in your native currency. Any such fees are the customer's responsibility.
Our partner BrickLaneBikes is the exclusive distributor and importer of our bikes in the European Union. BrickLaneBikes can ship directly to your home, and they also sell to bike shops if you prefer to shop in a store - just ask your bike shop to get in touch with BrickLane. BrickLaneBikes can supply any model/size/color we offer anywhere in the EU.
We strive to ship all orders placed before 2pm PST on the same business day. If you order after hours, or on a weekend/holiday, we’ll ship your order promptly on the next business day.
6KU.com ships to addresses in the United States of America and its territories (Guam, Puerto Rico) as well as APO/FPO/DPO addresses, plus all provinces in Canada. For international delivery outside these locations, please visit one of our partner retailers or distributors in your country. 6KU ships using FedEx and USPS based on the size/weight of your order and your delivery address. Whenever possible we’ll ship your order in a single box, but if you’ve ordered multiple large items, sometimes we’ll need to use two shipments for delivery.
If you’ve ordered a complete bike, it will be built by 6KU, then partially disassembled so that it fits into the shipping container for delivery to you. Upon receipt, you’ll need to unpack your bike and perform final assembly using common hand tools. Our customer support team is standing by to help you with assembly or adjustment questions - please write or call anytime.
Orders are generally shipped without requiring a signature at delivery. In some high-risk areas, we may elect to have the shipping carrier obtain a signature before making delivery.
Our responsibilities: - instruct the shipping carrier to deliver to the address you supplied at checkout - to ship in a timely fashion - pack shipments in such a way so they arrive undamaged.
Your responsibilities: - supply us with a safe and secure address for delivery - monitor the tracking information that we deliver to you via email and/or SMS text message so you'll know when your parcel is out for delivery, and can retrieve it promptly. Do not leave parcels sitting unclaimed.
Notably, we are not responsible for parcels stolen from your doorstep after delivery is made to the address you provided. Shipping carriers will not pay claims on parcels where the tracking shows "delivered".
