Populo Quest 16 Speed Gravel Bike

  • Urban streets and gravel roads are what the Populo Quest was designed to conquer. The Quest is a bike that can have multiple personalities and be ready for whatever roads you want to take it on. Its frame and fork are made out of 4130 Chromoly steel, so it’s strong, yet comfortable, on or off road. Quest is equipped with disc brakes, so no matter what trail or type of weather you’re riding in, you can stop on a dime. Shimano's proven Claris groupset means you have reliable shifting and braking every time and the wide range of gearing that comes standard on the Quest means you can pack this mule with as many bags and storage options as you’ll need for your next adventure ride. Let the Populo Quest expand the roads you ride.

Quest ships to you with 700x32 tires suitable for rough roads, but the frame and fork can even accommodate wider tires with knobby tread, should you choose to venture onto dirt roads, gravel, cyclocross, etc.

Populo Quest 16 Speed Gravel Bike

Hell yeah

Great buy. A bit heavy, crank/chainring are garbage. But for 299. Still a good buy. I'm replacing tires to go on dirt trails, because the tires on it are slick. Definitely not for outdoor trails. Also I'm replacing chainring for a 1x. Other than that everything else stock. Still a good buy. So if you spend another 100 you probably are getting a 600 dollar bike. So you save 200 bucks easy.

POPULO QUEST 16 SPEED GRAVEL BIKE

Giving it a 3 for a couple reasons. #1 The fork was on backwards (seriously!!!), so it would cause feet to hit the front tire and other things. Number 2: Rear derailleur housing was bent, so it impeded with shifting to either high or low gear. Other than that, did the tune-up. I'm a former bike mechanic, so I caught these flaws right away. If a newbie or someone not so familiar with bike mechanics purchased this bike, they may have paid more than a tune-up.

Bike looks great. It’s missing the front wheel retention clip. Directions are terrible. But there’s not that much left to assemble. Front derailleur looks to be too loose and will need adjustment. We will see, I have not ridden her yet.
