I got this bike from a local shop in December of 2023. This bike was a real blessing. Really got me into riding.
I started riding really heavily about a month after the initial purchase. After 2.5 months the bottom bracket, crank arms, and pedals started to creak, bend, and lose stiffness. I upgraded the cranks, bb, and pedals and made it a new bike. I upgraded to sugino parts.
This bike is super low key. Doesn't really draw attention. Which is really nice.
At some point you're going to want to upgrade to a new bike, or make this bike your daily commute. I am upgrading to a Skream now.
Yeah, I would say when purchasing this bike, if your fall in love with riding, upgrade the crankset and bb. Oh and dropping the handlebars too, I would recommend that as well at some point.
Pretty happy with the bike. I'm gonna sell it super cheap to someone in hopes they will like it as much as I did.
